Eilat hotels keep changing names and it can be really annoying. The Rimonim Hotel, Eilat was once the Neptune but don’t confuse it with the Rimonim Central Park Hotel, Eilat. Together with the Rimonim Hotel, Eilat’s new name it has had a massive face lift giving it a fresh and bright look throughout the 278 rooms and public areas. Rimonim Hotel, Eilat is a five star hotel on Eilat’s North Shore.
Family members of mine have just returned from a winter get away at the Rimonim, as they have two small children they chose to take a suite instead of rooms with connection doors. The suit includes a bedroom, lounge with fold out beds and a kitchenette. So having talked to them I thought I’d write this very up to date review!
The hotel is located right on the promenade and most rooms have a balcony with brilliant sea view. Not only that but the Rimonim Hotel is walking distance from the sea and there is a private beach with a lifeguard. The hotel has a contemporary design and there are standard rooms, family rooms, Junior, Deluxe and Presidential Suites. There are the usual room amenities like a mini-bar, air conditioning, safe and the all-essential coffee making facilities. Other facilities and amenities at the Rimonim Hotel, Eilat are Wi-Fi internet, spa and health center with Jacuzzi and sauna, a bar, a highly regarded fusion cuisine restaurant, Kid’s club, kiddies pool and parking.
My family members who stayed there said the staff were very friendly, teh breakfast delicious and over all it was well worth the price. The best thing about this hotel is the location, it puts you right in the middle of the action, walkign distance from many of Eilat’s attractions.
When I last checked (late December 2012) one night in the Rimonim Hotel, Eilat for a double room cost $148, for that price check out this link to the Rimonim Hotel Eilat.
